Background
I originally qualified as a nurse, and spent several years at Papworth Hospital where I became interested in the relationships between transplant patients and their families. In 1997 I began my training as a counsellor with Relate. I set up my own practice in 2003.

- Accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)
- Accredited member of CORST (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists)
- Relate Certificate in Couples Counselling
- Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy
- Trained to work with sexual addiction by Dr Thaddeus Birchard

I’m a counsellor, psychosexual therapist and trainer based in Oundle, near Peterborough. I work with couples and individuals, offering one-to-one counselling, couples counselling and psychosexual therapy.
I’ve also trained with Thaddeus Birchard, one of the country’s leading experts on sexual addiction. I specialise in working with people who have compulsive sexual behaviour.
As an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy www.bacp.co.uk and an accredited member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists www.cosrt.org.uk, I adhere to the code of ethics of both professional organisations. This means that my counselling and therapy happen in a safe, confidential environment; that I receive regular supervision; and that I take regular training.
